"We're pleased to announce the first three boards from our new 2011 downhill lineup. The new boards feature updated shapes, a new composite layup, and new graphics. All Madrid boards are pressed, CNC-cut, and finished right here in Southern California.

Compared to 2010's all-wood construction, the new layup (8ply maple with Formica top and bottom) looks better, is more durable (particularly the sharp top rail), and is torsionally stiffer for improved turning leverage, better grip, and more predictable slides.

The new graphics are in the Rat Fink style to pay tribute to Madrid's 30+ year history in skateboarding."
